Christ Pantocrator
It is inspired from the icon of Christ Pantocrator that is housed at the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi and is dated at the end of the 13th century.
The hagiographer emphasizes the teaching role of Christ by placing a closed scroll at the left hand of Christ. This type of hagiography is not often encountered during the byzantine period.
